ABOUT US


After 11 years of pizza making and a devastating pandemic, we have decided to close up shop and move on to the next adventure.

The Pizza Company experienced all sorts of wonderful events over the years and we are grateful for the opportunities and friendships we've made along the way.

Michael Johnson, a chef with over three decades of experience is moving back to Sonoma county to work as an executive catering chef.

He graduated from The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York and moved to California.  Michael worked in Napa and Sonoma counties, falling in love with the area and climate that produced such fresh ingredients.  We are proud of the culinary mark he has made in the Sacramento area utilizing the fabulous produce of the Farm to Fork Capitol area.  We shall miss the people, farmers markets, caterings and events but happy to be settling back with family in Sonoma county.
